Elder Keesha M. Speight is a member of the Greater Fellowship Full Gospel Baptist Church where Dr. Carey E. Pointer, Jr. serves as the Pastor. At Greater Fellowship, Elder Speight serves as armorbearer to Co-Pastor Kathy E. Pointer, Team Leader for the Youth About Christ (YAC) Ministry, and Church School Teacher. She is actively involved in her church, enjoys teaching, and has tremendous love for children of all ages. Galatians 1:15-16 seems to capture the essence of God’s design in her life, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace to reveal his son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen…” In 1993, while at college the Lord dealt with Elder Speight about ministry and on November 25, 1995 at 12:00 a.m. the Lord confirmed his calling to the preaching ministry with Luke 4:18-21. Moreover, that following year on June 30, 1996, Elder Speight preached her initial sermon.
